Improving the lives of transplant patients and their families by expanding the number
of transplant-able kidneys, livers and other solid organs.
The first application for the Universal Transplant Company's (UTC) technology is to enable ABO incompatible kidney transplants. This will allow for approximately 3,500 additional kidney transplants per year. The same technology will also allow for other solid organ transplants such as liver, heart, lung and pancreas transplants.
The second application for UTC's technology is to enable HLA incompatible kidney transplants. This will allow for approximately 20,000 additional kidney transplants per year. The same technology will also allow for other solid organ transplants such as liver, heart, lung and pancreas transplants.
